How about:

If you emerge from this therapy choosing to be openly gay, I, as your therapist, will be disappointed or consider therapy to have failed.

Other professional, credentialed therapists can not to be trusted as much as those who are like me when it comes to sexual identity issues.

If you have compounding mental health issues (depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar), sexual identity issues must be treated first. (And/or) resolving sexual issues usually fixes all other mental health problems. (And/or) drug therapy for depression, etc. never works. (And/or) drug therapy is contrary to God's will.

Openly gay people have chosen sex over God.

I think you’re possibly misinterpreting what Hayes is saying. I don’t know him personally, but as I hear it, he’s simply saying that it doesn’t choose the values that guide the client. All values are, are guidelines; what the client chooses to direct his or her life to.

I don’t think Hayes is exactly endorsing your program here.

It has to be a big difference between sexual identity and sexual preference. Most Teenagers just taste any thing, it is why some times they carry false IDs, for sex, alcohol,… With time and carrying helps, they may turn out to be normal adults (ANTI GAY PRACTICES, ANTI ALCOHOLISM,…). Once they need help, they may choose the right place for good help
